I’ve been editing and revising some chapters, yet I can’t believe I’ve haven’t blogged about this talent artist/composer.
Philip Wesley music has a mixture of lullabies and hymns. His first album I listened to was DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL. Two things, first, that title sounds awesome for as a great fantasy read. Second, the cover is absolutely serene. This album came out in 2008 and there are three others before it, one being a Christmas which I absolutely adore. Wesley has a talent for naming his songs. Soul’s Lament, Two Souls, and Darkness Falls are just a few from the album

And it’s not just this album, TRANSCEND, which came out in 2014, has some beautiful song titles as well such as Captivated, Echoes through Eternity, and Wanderlust. Makes me feel like I’m transcending through time and space allowing the creativity to flow.
I love when he blends some lullabies and hymns together before taking the tune in totally different direction. The way he does it is effortlessly and natural flow to it. His latest album, BEYOND CLOUD NINE is just awe inspiring. Similar to the other albums, the cover is gorgeous, the song titles mirrors not just the cover, but the music. I want to just run barefoot without a care through the field on that cover and the music just whimsically playing in the background.
Philip Wesley’s music make me want to pick up my piano lessons all over again. He’s truly talented. A great musical muse for writing and editing. His music runs and slurs are all over the place. The tempo is perfect background for instigating creativity.
